What is the purpose and use of the 3000 foot flight cone rocket. I believe it is to bring into the public eye experimental manned rocketry by barnstorming. Flying at airshows it would be the most unique thing in the air. Spectators would get a close up view of powerful manned rocketry without having to drive to Cape Canaveral and wait on the shuttle to be cleared for launch. The cone rocket would be carried from town to town coast to coast promoting hybrid engine development, rocket airframe design , and frontier spirit with its spectacular flights to 3000 feet. If adults have lost there fascination with such things, I’m sure children would love it.
