Dear Rocket Enthusiast:

Thank you for your interest in this project. I have been pleased with the responses I have received, a lot of criticism, but also a lot of positive support and a lot of fresh ideas. The Ultralight Rocket Project was written to generate interest in the talented people that are capable of pulling this off. I have stumbled into a air race; I know of four competitors so far who started before me. Who will be first, I would love to be, but it is more important to be the best. I know now it is just a matter of time before the first commercially funded manned rocket launch takes place, and I wish everyone good luck and Godspeed.

I do not believe the " mortar round " rocket is the best path to take , but it was the best I could do to meet a deadline. I do believe it would work, but out there somewhere in the rocketry community is the next generation of Werner Von Brauns who just need someone to believe and trust them. They will be the ones to build low cost rockets that will give everyone a chance to go into space. We must crawl before we walk, and we must not be content to fly just in cyberspace. I prefer a real rainy gray sky to a blue silicon one. So 3000 feet or bust.

Thank You

Glen May
